Welcome to Get Solar Quotes. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at getsolarquotes.com and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by betterbusiness GmbH ("Get Solar Quotes," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What We Do

Get Solar Quotes is a free comparison and referral service. We collect information you provide about your home and energy usage and share it with up to four solar companies in our network ("Partners") so they can contact you with quotes and information about solar products and services.

We are not a solar installer, contractor, lender, or energy provider. We do not sell, install, finance, or warrant any solar products or services. Any transaction you enter into is solely between you and the Partner, and is governed by the terms you agree with that Partner.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old and reside in the United States. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you submit is accurate, current, and about a property you own or are authorized to represent.

3. Your Consent to Be Contacted

When you submit a quote request and click the submission button, you authorize Get Solar Quotes and up to four solar companies to contact you at the phone number and email address you provided, as described in the consent language displayed at the point of submission, including through automated technology and prerecorded, artificial, or AI-generated voice or SMS messages. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You may revoke consent at any time as described in our Privacy Policy and Messaging Terms & Conditions.

4. Estimates and Third-Party Information

Any cost estimates, savings figures, incentive information, or system-size indications displayed by the Service are informational estimates only, based on averages, publicly available data, and the information you provide. They are not quotes, offers, or guarantees. Actual pricing, savings, eligibility for incentives, and system design can only be determined by a qualified installer after evaluating your property.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of information provided by Partners or other third parties.

5. No Endorsement; Partner Vetting

We apply vetting criteria to Partners in our network (see our Partner List), but inclusion in our network does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, or warranty of any Partner's products, services, pricing, or workmanship. You are responsible for evaluating any Partner before entering into an agreement, including verifying licenses, insurance, references, and contract terms.

6. Compensation Disclosure

We receive compensation from Partners for connecting them with consumers who request quotes. This compensation may influence which Partners receive your request. The Service is free to you. See our Advertiser Disclosure.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or third-party information without authorization
  • Use the Service for any commercial purpose, including lead resale or competitive analysis
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the Service
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the Service
  • Violate any applicable law in connection with your use of the Service

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY ESTIMATE OR PARTNER INFORMATION IS ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GET SOLAR QUOTES AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY TRANSACTION WITH A PARTNER. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Get Solar Quotes and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

12. Dispute Resolution; Arbitration; Class Action Waiver

Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court. You and Get Solar Quotes each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action.

You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to info@betterbusiness.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except as preempted by federal law (including the Federal Arbitration Act).

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
