"Sale" and "Sharing" of Personal Information
Under the CCPA's broad definitions, our disclosure of your information to solar companies and marketing partners in exchange for compensation may constitute a "sale", and our use of advertising cookies may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Categories sold or shared: identifiers, customer records, commercial information, internet activity, and geolocation data — to solar companies in our network and advertising/analytics partners.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
Your Rights
As a California resident, you have the right to:

- Delete — request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions
- Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information

- Access, deletion, correction: Email info@betterbusiness.com with the subject "CCPA Request"
- Opt-out preference signals: We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of sale/sharing for the browser or device transmitting the signal
We will verify your identity before fulfilling access, deletion, or correction requests (typically by matching information you provide against our records). Opt-out requests do not require verification. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with signed permission.
We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days, extendable by an additional 45 days with notice.
Retention
We retain each category of personal information as described in Section 7 of our Privacy Policy — for as long as needed to provide the Service, document consent as required by law, and comply with legal obligations.
